Justin Timberlake

Well yesterday didn't even come close to what I expected. First of I didn't meet Natasha again, didn't really mind though since I already met her yesterday but ofcourse it would've been fun if I met her again. Then Fia ran late (I'm never ever going to take care of someone elses tickets again) so we missed half of Natashas set. Wild Horses was amazing though! Really did my night!!!

Then Justin. Well, what can I say? It's kinda cool that I've seen him live but it was probably the most boring concert ever! Defo the most boring when Timbaland (sp?) was up on stage *yawn*! So was defo not even near worth the money...

And now to something completely diffrent. My computer... won't get it back until july 18th. Me all alone in boring Skellefteå a whole month without my computer =( Hopefully I can use the ones in school sometimes but what if you need that cardthingy since it's summer?? *sigh*

Ah well, have nice summer everyone... I probably won't...

NB

Went into town to meet Natasha Bedingfield today. Stood outside the hotel for a while then a car came which looked empty apart from Grodan who drove it. So I thought I'd ask him as soon as he had stopped if he was going to driver Natasha. But there was no need for that cause Burt and some girl I've never seen jumped out of the car and went in to the hotel. Then just 2min later Natasha went out =D And for once I decided that I wanted an autograph instead of a photo so well... yeh... hmm... that's it! I asked her and got one =P even though I had the worst pen ever!! Talked to her for a while and her last "was very nice to meet you Anna" sounded so ehm real? sincere? like she really really ment it so that was very nice! Then afterwards I talked to a guy who I assume was someone who worked with her who had asked me while she was signing my CD if I was a fan =P He was very nice aswell so it was great day haha! Then a few (1?) hours later I met Malin and Emeile and then lilsis and walked around town and stuff. Bought a new pair of shoes...

Concert tomorrow night with Fia =) Gonna be nice... just have to find someone who can join me to meet Natasha tomorrow *hint hint*

A whole day with my lil sister

Me and Jossi went in to town today to go shopping! She didn't have that much money so it was mostly me shopping but it was nice!! Bought a few things ehm one of them was a think where you can put toiletpaper haha so now we have one Lisa... wohooo!! :S

Ah well going to bed soon so that's it for today =P Nighty

Sofabed

Me and Anna went to IKEA today and I found myself a sofabed!!! Would be great to have instead of my not so nice bed I've got from Skebo! Just have to convince mum (and maybe dad aswell?) that it is a good idea. She owns me a bed so would be great if I could get that sofabed instead since I really really want a sofa and there is no way what so ever that one is going to fit in my room. but if I have agood sofabed and keep my ehm bäddmadrass from the skebo säng I think it will work out great. Especially since it says that it is a sofabed that is for people living in small apartments so it's supposed to be used every single night!! I even have a feeling it's a better bed than the one I have now... but still... gotta convince mum! Or wait until august when I have some more money... Ah well, here's a pic of it (although I want it in dark grey, not blue. But they only had a pic of the blue one)

There's a reason Nicky is holding the rose

Feels like I've been talking abot this alot recently. Most recently with Moa and parts of it a while ago with Lisa and probably loads of other ppl. That and the fact that I'm really bored at the moment made me decide to write this. But first of I have to write this - It's a joke! *garderar mig mot ovälkommna dumma kommentarer*

There's a reason Nicky is holding the rose!

- Nicky is the cute/ sexy/ goodlooking/ gorgeous/ beautiful one
- Nicky is the one who actually look cool during the concerts (Kian and Shane just tries to look as cool but fails desperatly) and well, he is the only cool one of them all and what could be more cool than to hold a rose?
- Since Mark and Shane are singing almost everything, they have to let Nicky have an important part of the band aswell
- Nickys hand are all yummy so when holding the rose he gets to show of his gorgeous hands
- Everybody loves Nicky so therefore its only natural that he gets the essential task of holding the rose

Best band in the world...

Go in here and vote for the best band in the world http://www.jabramusic.com/

you'll have to register but Westlife is now on place 32 and sooo deservs to be higher up on that list so vote!! =P

Just Another Day

Don't really have anything to write...

Although I can't stop laughing at dad! He's forgetting everything this week. First of, last friday on Jossis graduation he forgot his phone so when he came back from systemet he had like 18 missed calls or something like that. Next day while playing golf mum calls me to ask if his phone is on fjöset (if you don't know what fjöset is well... then you're not part of this family - simple as that haha) cause he couldn't find it while playing. And ofcourse it is. Then yesterday he had promised me that I could use his sl-card since he was in Helsingborg anyways. But he forgot that aswell and brought it with him. Then about an hour ago he called me and asked (since he's still in Helsingborg) if I could go into town and to his work and pick up 2 books that he forgot there at the same time as he was looking for 8 (!!!!) boat tickets that he just lost and are supposed to use with some ppl from work or other tonight...

Oh and Denise, if you read this... I've lost the link to your blog *hides*

Tuesday

Met Emelie today at her lunch. Ate Nacho de Luxe in Kungshallen *yummy*! Was very nice seeing her and she gave me a few tips on anything and everything which was very nice! Much appreciated! So if you read this - thanks!

I also bought Natasha Bedingfields new album today =) Really love the song "soulmate" (that's why I put part of the lyrics in my last post =P )+ she's supporting Justin on tuesday wohooo!! Can't wait...

Anyways... mum wants the comp better go...

Soulmate

Incompatible
it don't matter though
'coz someone's bound to hear my cry
speak out if you do
you're not easy to find
is it impssoble, Mr. Loveable
is already in my life
right in front of me
or maybe you're in disguise

who doesn't long for someone to hold
who knows how to love you,
without being told
somebody tell me why I'm on my own
if there's a soulmate for everyone

England, Stockholm & Happy Feet

I so wanna go to England on august 12th!! Westlife are playing an outdoorshow and it's standing!! But I'm not sure I have enough money, not sure I have any company and most importantly - I work until 3am that day... or ehm... I start the 11th sometime and finnish yeh 3am the 12th! Which ofcourse makes it impossible! I hope they'll do atleast one more show so that I can go... cause I can always find some money and force Lisa or someone else to go with me but I can't take more time of work!

Anyways, it's really nice to be back home in Stockholm. I just wish I could stay here the whole summer so next summer I'll try to get a job here instead!

Saw Happy Feet with Anna and Sara yesterday =) Soooo cute!! haha

What happened?

When did you get so damn selfish?

Il Divo and Jossis Graduation

"Publikfrieri", bowing and bad lightning. That's Il Divo at the Globe.

But first things first... met Moa (very nice to meet you!!!) and went to Il Divos hotel. Missed Seb by a few minutes (or even seconds maybe?). Then David (is that his name?) came out and everyone outside of the hotel rushed over to him. Urs came out about the same time and no-one seamed to nitice since they were trying to get to David. So I had a few seconds alone with Urs before people noticed him =P He was kinda nice and I got a piccie with him so I'm happy =) Carlos came a few minutes later...

Hmm... yeh, the concert! It was good actually!! I really enjoyed it but as I said... "Publikfrieri", bowing and bad lightning... hmm...

Had to get up early the day after since it was my lil sisters graduation day! Was very warm outside haha but it was a nice day. Might upload a few pics later...

Nostalgia

I wanna go back in time...

Just a smile and the rain is gone
Can hardly believe it (yeah)
There's an angel standing next to me
Reaching for my heart

Just a smile and there's no way back
Can hardly believe it (yeah)
But there's an angel calling me
Reaching for my heart

I know, that I'll be ok now
This time it's real

I lay my love on you
It's all I wanna do
Every time I breathe
I feel brand new
You open up my heart
Show me all your love, and walk right through
As I lay my love on you

I was lost in a lonely place
Could hardly believe it (yeah)
Holding on to yesterday
Far, far too long

Now I believe it's ok cause
This time it's real

I lay my love on you
It's all I wanna do
Every time I breathe
I feel brand new
You open up my heart
Show me all your love, and walk right through
As I lay my love on you

I never knew that love could feel so good
Like a once in a lifetime
You change my world

I lay my love on you
You make me feel brand new
Show me your love and walk right through (oh, yeah)
As I lay my love on you

I lay my love on you
It's all I wanna do
Every time I breathe
I feel brand new
You open up my heart
Show me all your love, and walk right through
As I lay my love on you

I lay my love on you
You make me feel brand new
Show me all your love and walk right through
As I lay my love on you

As I lay my love on you

Anyways, I got my time off and got to work alot during july and the first two weeks of august so I'm rally happy with that!

Gonna start packing as well as cleaning the apartment today. Guess it's a pretty good idea to make it look decent before we go home...

Was very nice =) until i burned myself in the sun =( haha hmm... don't know what to write but we had a nice day =)

Almost done

I just finnished my studiesammanfattning and have now only the revidering left to do (nice "swenglish" there). Just need Lisa to come home =P Have changed a a few things in it but I can ofcourse not change them for defiante until she has OKed it. Obviously since it's her revidering aswell. But I'm happy with my studiesammanfatting so that's good!

Worked until nearly 4am last night so I'm kinda tired right now... hmm... Was probably the nicest people at McDonalds Skellefteå who worked yesterday so it was OK. Nearly fell asleep during my first hour though haha

Ah well... back to do a few more changes...

Denmark - Sweden

This is definatley a game I will remember! Experienced quite a few diffrent emotions during that game!! I mean from 0-1, to 0-2 (loved that goal btw), to 0-3 (and we were ofcourse certain that we would win), to 1-3, to 2-3, to 3-3. Then a few very long minutes where Denmark in my opoinion (ofcourse since I'm Swedish)had way to many chances to score. Then with only a few minutes left a dannish player gets a red card and sweden gets a penalty - happy again. but ofcourse that didn't last long since we never took the penalty. A stupid dannish suporter enters the pitch and hits (??) the refree!! The refree ends the game since it's not safe to continue. Then a few very confusing minutes until they've decided that sweden won with 0-3! And as I said to Anette. I think it's a good rule but it should never ever have to be used! I'm ofcourse glad that we won but it shouldnt have been in that way.

Need some time off to think

I seriously need some time off right now!! I'm tired of school and I'm tired of McDonalds!! Not even sure that studying is "my thing" anymore... I admit I was a bit lazy last year and therefore didn't pass three of my exams. But I started a new life after christmas and have been studying alot. Does that help though? No, ofcourse not! The music has been good, that's why I'm here, but MRS is... I don't know. Can't find the right words. But if I don't pass this course I don't know. I don't wanna do it all over again! I've really fought (sp?) and struggled and tried to do my very best!! What do I do if it's not enough? Just wanna hand in the assignment and get my points! If I don't and I don't pass my exams in august I won't even get any CSN. Shit, I'm terrible at this! I so need the points! And ofcourse I'm going to study like hell this summer so I pass the two exams in august but I can never be sure, can I? And then McDonalds. Why can't it be like at Akalla? I actually feel bad everytime I need to go to work. And as I've said before, I can deal with that over summer but when school starts? How can I possibly deal with both McDonalds and school at the same time? Going home to Stockholm on thursday - then I'm going to think really hard about this. About school. About work. About life? What do I really want to make of my life?

I'm just confused.

Nothing

Il Divo & Party pics

First off - bought tickets to Il Divos concert at the Globe arena next thursday =) And Moa has sent me a few songs aswell so that I can actually learn a few before the concert haha. I really love "feelings" and the other songs are good aswell so I think it will be a great night! And ofcoruse that concert me and Anna saw on TV around xmas... well it was funny so yeh, gonna be great!!

Have to upload a few pics from mums party aswell so here goes:

Motivated

Just got back home from a musiclesson. A guy named Patrik Larsson was there talking and it was great! He was by far the best lecturer we've had and I feel really motivated right now. He talked alot about how to distribute your own music and how to promote it. If you should do it this way or that way. And even though I'm not an artist (never will be and doesn't want to) I learned alot and it was really... hmm... rewarding? Right now I just wanna find a band that deals witht these kind of issues and try to help them out in one way or another so that I can learn more... or something!

Rocco & Jay

Was a few days ago now but since I just realized that I haven't mentioned it in my blog, well, it's time to do so.

Those two really cute boys (ok 3 really cute boys) is ofcourse Rocco & Jay. Nicky and Georginas one month old twins. Nicky and Georgina looks so happy =) Hmm... don't know what to say so I'll just let the pics speak for themselves!

Really pissed off!!

I'm so not in a good mood right now! Every single time I come to McDonald's there's something that isn't working as it should (and I don't mean the machines, I mean the routines and things like that). Or maybe I shouldn't say 'should'. Maybe I should say 'did in Akalla'. Maybe that's it. Maybe I'm once again spoiled. Akalla was great and now I'm in Skellefteå and it's not even compareable (is that a word?) to the standard of things at Akalla. Don't even know if I have the right to be annoyed but I am...

What really made me pissed today though was the scedule (sp?). If I remember correctly you have a right to get your scedule atleast two weeks before it starts. Did that happen? No way!! It's now 2½ days (see days not weeks!!) til the new scedule starts and I still haven't got a proper one. I had to write it of another paper and it wasn't even the full month. Only until the 17th! Which for me is a huge problem since I'm going home to Stockholm the 7th and can't check that scedule until the 21st. But I might actually work 18th-21st... *sigh* But ofcourse that's not it! I told my boss during my interview in march that if I get the job I can't work 7th-9th, no matter what! She said that was OK, she hired me... and she put me up to work the 9th.

This I'm not sure about but I think there is also a rule that you should have your 'lönespec' a week before payday, which is the 25th. So that means that the 'lönespec' should arrive the 18th at the latest. It's now the 29th and I still haven't got it!!!

I'm not sure I'm able to cope with all this crap! Fine, during the summer I guess it's OK cause I really need a job and I have nothing much else to do. But what about when school starts? I won't have time for this!

So now I'm going to hope that Sofie (or someone else) can work for me the 9th. Otherwise I have to call my boss and I'm not sure I can tell her "the right things". I really need to get some perspective on this. But if today was the day I for definate had to choose weather or not to continue my job when school starts - I'd leave without a doubt. It is acually that bad. I wouldn't concider continueing working there with all the crap that's going on even though it would lower my studentloans by a couple (probably quite many) thousands. But as I said, I need to get some perspective on things and then we'll see. Will defo continue until nolle p but I am really not that sure if I'd be able to cope with more.

I so hope the 'real' boss is better than this one. Or actually, she is only a part of it... there's a few other ppl there who makes my days even harder. But them I can deal with if the other boss is good!!

Rambling over...

Birthday Party

So mum had her b-day party yesterday. Was about 45ppl here =)

Anyways, the day started of with alot of helping out wherever I was needed. Moved some tables and stuff. Then me and mum went to Täby C to her makeup thingy that I gave her. I think she really enjoyed it so that was great!! Then back home to continue getting things done for the party. Then ppl started coming. Was great to see the cousins again. Like Johan said, it was probably 100years since we had seen eachother. Was a great party and everyone seamed to enjoy it! And the band Treo who play was actually really good so that was nice!

But the absolut best thing is that it's summer down here in Stockholm =) Haha

Might put up some pics later... (when I get back to Skellefteå on tuesday)

Y-buss for the win!

So I found out for sure this moring that SAS will strike (or whatever it's called) so first things first - I called them up and changed my flight to june 7th since I have to go home to my sis graduation. Talked to a really nice girl who was very helpful and understanding so that was much appreciated! But I still had to get home this weekend so I called up SJ to book a train with my voucher-thingy from last summer but that was waaay to expensive and the girl I talked to there wasn't even close to as nice as the girl from SAS so I just told her I had to think about it.

Then I came to think of Y-buss, but I didn't think they travelled all the way up to Skellefteå - but it was worth a try! And ofcourse I was right =P But they did go to Umeå and it would only cost me 285kr so I booked that and will just take a random buss down to Umeå. So now instead of about an hour long flight I'll sit on a bus from 5.30pm-6.00am. Hopefully I can get some sleep haha!

Gonna be nice to go home for a while! I miss home... Fine, this is home now aswell. But Stockholm will always be home. Guess this is kinda a home away from home... or something!

Gotta continue packing

Tuesday, May 22, 2007

What's going on?

So the news on TV just said a few things about the SAS strike on friday... but I didn't understand one single thing of it!! Can't wait until tomorrow so I know if they're actually going to have a strike or not *sigh* Fine, I don't care anyome if I have to take the bus to Stockholm but I wanna know so I can actually book the bus!! I'm so tired of this!! But hopefully I'm lucky and there will be no strike. I'm not going to get my hopes up though...

Happy Bday!!

Happy Bday mum!! You're getting old =P
Happy Bday dad!! (yeh, I know it was yesterday... but better late (even though I said iton the phone yesterday))

Anyways, was a few days since i wrote anything. Not that I have anything to write since the only thing I've been doing this weekend is to work. Had a few weird customers there today though, which was fun, but other than that it's been a pretty boring weekend.

Ah well...

21

So now I'm 21 (ok, I know it's really about an hour left), can't say it's much diffrent haha! Been a nice day (mostly) and Pia, Carro and Daniel was here and helped me and Lisa to eat the birthdaycake =P

Have also got a few pressies. Thank you!!! One of my oooh so nice presents was a pair of sunglasses that I got from Lisa. Gonna have them inside at Traversen at nolle p. Oh yeh... it's the glasses that Lisa is wearing in the pic hahaha

The one thing that wasn't nice about today was ofcourse finding out about the ehm strejk (heter på engelska?) the 25th which means I can't come home. Or well, in one way or another I will but I'm not sure I'll get the money back for my tickets so that's not so fun, even though it was dad who payed for them. Might have to go with Skyways in their very very tiny planes =O Ah well, that's life I guess...

Wednesday, May 16, 2007

All or nothing? maybe...

This time I'll write parts of the blog in Swedish (for the simple reason that the text can't be translated into english without sounding like total crap)

Now to the english part =P

Have loads to do at school at the moment. Or actually, not at school cause we can do everything at home but it's still alot!! And ofcourse, when we have this much to do I get sick... I'm not too bad but if I didn't have to get up in the morning I certainly wouldn't!

Tomorrow's my 21st birthday... getting older (obviously). A few friends are coming over to eat cake (if I don't feel even worse tomorrow that is) =) Hmm, well, I don't have much to say really... should get back to either studying or washing up (can't decide what is more fun)!

A Weekend with my bestest friends!

I'm so happy right now! Just had a great weekend with my two bestest friends!! And I'm also very happy that they finally came to visit me cause I know it's far away so I didn't expect anyone at all to come and visit. And now both of them and my lovley little sister has been here =D

Anyways... Woke up early on Friday to go and get Anna and Sara at the busstop =) Then we just went home and did nothing for a while ( = talked, opened birthday pressies, ate lunch and just hung out really). After that we went to coop to buy dinenr adn things so that we could make a birthday cake (see the lovley pic of Anna haha - been replaced with a pic of only the cake =P )!!

In the evening we went to Traversen, ofcourse I had to show them where all of us students party in Skellefteå =P Had a great time even though a certain someone was well... can't find a good word for it in english.

On saturday we went into town to go shopping. Didn't take long since it's not very big here...

Watched Eurovision Song Contest in the eveneing. And as usuall the wrong song won!! BUT rather that one than the "kallestropp-rymdvarsle-gubbe"

And then today they left... =( But we had a great time so Im very happy!!

Another more or less boring day...

Been writing about people who's comeing to Trästock... Got an email on monday saying that we were going to have another pressrelease and it was going to be on wednessday (today) so it was a lil panicy there for a while but we managed to get it done so now I'm well proud of myself (ok, not really)! But I'm very happy that it's over and done!

Anna and Sara are coming this weekend =) Can't wait!! Been so long since I saw them. Yeh, I know, that is what happens when you move 800km away from home (or well, don't remember how far away it is but I think it's something like that) but I miss them. And everyone else at home! Think I'm gonna give my lovely granny a call...

Oh, and I have a new fave singer!! Paolo Nutini. He's sooo good!! I really love his song "last request"

And finally, I think this is a great idea - post your best pics from the Love Tour. Here's a link to where to post the pics and also the rules =P

So if you went to the tour this year, join the competition!! ;) *looking with puppy eyes at Lisa so that she will remember to post her pic where Nicky is "holding" a spotlight*

Why swedish?

I really don't like swedish at the moment! I'm trying to write a short text about a girl who's playing at Trästock this summer but everything sounds so much better in english!! I mean, how do you translate "illusions of passion" into swedish without making it sound like total crap?? And ofcourse I can't think of any other way to explain her music apart from what's written on her homepage since I - first of, haven't heard of her before and secondly, don't like that type of music at all! *sigh*

Anyways, Lisa will be home soon... hopefully she can help me =P

Fantastic weekend

This weekend has been just amazing... not! I've dropped an icecream with chocolade-sause on my shirt, I've burned my hand on coffiee, I've droped a whole bag of popcorn on the floor and to make it even worse I've destroyed my fryingpan *sigh*

Can't wait till tomorrow...

Why is it so hardto say what you want?

Been working at McDonalds Skellefteå for about 2 weeks now. And I'm already tired of most people who come to eat. I mean, if they want a cheeseburger, why say that you want a hamburger with cheese on?? or if they want a coke, why say that they want something to drink? And then when I ask them what they want to drink they get pissed of cause they think I should've known that it was a coke even though they didn't say it. Same thing with icecream. They just say that they want an icecream, not which one they want. But what annoys me most is when they want a hotdog... since when does McDonalds have hotdogs?? *sigh*

Yesterdays post

Just to be clear, my last post didn't say that you can't ask me about when I've met Westlife and what happened etc. Was just trying to make a point that I won't say how. Cause I do enjoy talking about my memories (cause they're a few of my best memories) when meeting them. So if you wanna ask, then ask. Just please don't ask me how!

How to meet Westlife

Have had a long discussion with Denise about meeting Westlife, which as always lead to the question how to meet Westlife. Which was fun, cause (I think) Denise knows that there's no way to say how to do it. She also knows that (as mean as I am) I won't say anything about what, when and where she can meet them. Been doing this for so long now and the best way really is to let no-one know at what hotel they're staying at or anything like that. But, I'm starting to get a bit annoyed at everyone else who's asking. Just because I've met them more times than I ever have hoped for doesn't mean I know how to (honestly!!). So before anyone ask me again...

- I don't care at all if you think I'm mean or whatever. If I have to be mean to be able to meet Westlife and actually get something out if it, I will!

- only thing I will tell you is: be at the right place at the right time (cause that is what it really is about)

and just to piss everyone off a little bit more... nice pic of me and Shane, right? =P

Working all night long

Worked from 6pm - 3am yesterday. Was fun cause I had to do so many diffrent things but that last hour, OMG! Don't think we never had so many ppl eating at Akalla. Or well, we did, I'm sure we did. But then we were about 10ppl working instead of 5 like we were yesterday. The good thing though is that time goes fast when you have alot to do =P But I still don't like to work at night so I'm happy that I quit at the latest 7.30pm in may =D

Anyways, don't really know what to write... Might watch a movie with aerie later but I have a headache and have to go to coop and stuff before so we'll see...

Georgina heads home...

Emotions high as Georgina heads home without tots
Friday April 27th 2007

Nicky Byrne and wife Georgina Ahern leave Holles Street Hospital yesterday after the birth of their twin sons Rocco and Jay

Office staff watch as Nicky Byrne and wife Georgina Ahern leave hospital yesterday

A GLOWING Georgina Ahern yesterday stepped out in public for the first time since having twins Rocco and Jay a week ago. The new mum shyly posed for photographs, with husband Westlifer Nicky Byrne, on the steps of the National Maternity Hospital in Holles Street yesterday afternoon. It was an emotional day for the new parents as they made their first trip home to Malahide, Co Dublin together, but had to leave their six-week premature boys behind.

And Nicky revealed who had been chosen as godparents. Georgina's younger sister and bestselling author Cecelia Ahern and Nicky's brother Adam will be godparents to Rocco, while Nicky's sister and her husband, Gillian and Mark Gallagher, will do the honours for Jay.

Looking remarkably fresh after undergoing a Caesarean section just last Friday, Georgina spent a few minutes at the hospital door before going back inside.

Speaking for the couple, Nicky said they were both still on a high after becoming parents for the first time. "We're absolutely chuffed. It's an emotional day. We're going home but the lads are still here. "Georgina is keeping well but she's not 100pc."

He said the babies, who were receiving special care due to their tiny size, were already showing different personalities. "They're very healthy and are progressing nicely. We still have no idea when they can come home."

The singer has had a hectic schedule for the past week, rushing between the hospital and the Point, where Westlife is on a 12-night run of shows.

So far, only close family and friends have caught a glimpse of the twins.

Mum Georgina Goes Home

PROUD new mum Georgina Byrne left hospital yesterday with her Westlife husband Nicky. But sadly, the parents had to leave their six-week premature twins Jay and Rocco at Dublin's National Maternity Hospital Holles Street. Doting mum Georgina, 27, daughter of Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, looked gorgeous in jeans and grey top with pink cardigan as she prepared to head home. Nicky, 28, said yesterday: "It is quite emotional going home without Rocco and Jay. "We don't know when we will be able to take our boys home but they are healthy and that is the main thing. "Even though we are leaving now all we are really looking forward to is coming back into the hospital to see Rocco and Jay. "And we can't wait to take them home." Georgina was rushed to hospital when she went into labour minutes after Nicky's gig at the Point last Thursday. The twins were delivered by Caesarean section on Friday morning and could remain in the hospital for several weeks.

Just realized...

I never ever in my entire life thought I'd be saying this but I just realized that I really don't mind if Westlife come to Sweden on their next tour or not. I'm now so used to go to UK/Ireland every year that it doesn't matter anymore. I already know more or less where I'm going next year. Ofcourse, somewhere inside I hope they will come to Sweden but I won't bother or even be a bit dissapointed if they don't...

A couple of months premature, the boys named Rocco and Jay were born this morning in Dublin to the 27-year-old and her husband, Westlife singer Nicky Byrne.

Tuesday

Was a while since I wrote anything...

I'm starting my new job at McDonalds on saturday... gonna be fun =) I've actually missed workeing at McDonalds. I just hope it's as good as Akalla was. My new boss seam to be alot nicer though so that's a good thing I guess. Then right after my shift it's time for idol. I think they're only going to tell us a bit about what's going to happen but then on sunday it's time to work! Not completely sure what I'll do there but it's an experience so it's gonna be great!!

I miss the Westlife-tour! Wish I was going to Dublin aswell but that's life. I mean, I did see the concert seven times so I'm very happy about that. But at the same time it feels kinda empty. No Westlife-concert to look forward to right now. Ok, I guess there will be a tour next year but no-one knows for sure and since this tour isn't finished yet - ofcourse there's no tickets for next years!

And school ofcourse... was ages since I was there (haven't had any lessons). Still alot to do at home. Two projects at the same time, one very very boring and one funny =) Or actually, the boring one that we have in MRS could've been fun... I think! If only we had another teatcher! I really can't stand him! He even has to show off when he's not around *sigh* ah well...

Anyways, American Idol on TV soon... BUT before I go I just have to write: ANBELANGA! =S

The Love Tour - Glasgow & Aberdeen

Ok so here's the longer version =)

Glasgow
April 5th:
Flew to Glasgow... Or actually, we flew to Stockholm, then London, changed airport and then flew to Glasgow so we were at 5 diffrent airports in one day. When we got to Glasgow it was around 11pm so we went to our hotel to get some sleep. The hotel receptionist could barley keep himself from laughing when he realized why we were there. At first he thought we were there for some dancing competition but well yeh, Westlife is a much better reason! Anways, was very nice to get some sleep =)

April 6th:
Walked around town to see if we could find the hotel where Westlife were staying. Instead we found McFly, random. They were in a hurry so we didn't get any pics or anything. After a while we realized where Westlifes hotel were and that it wasn't worth paying for a taxi to get there so instead we went to the arena so that we knew what it looked like. Was very dissapointed! We thought that it'd be the cool thing that lookes like the opera house in Sidney but it wasn't. It was the building right next to it, which looked like a garage or something like that. It also looked like it was built just for that concert and that they were going to demolish it afterwards. Later at night when it was time to go in, well, can't say the arena looked better inside! First support act was the unconventionals *no comment* and after them it was time for the MacDonald Bros. They were sooo funny =) The concert was just as good as at Wembley and our 3rd row seats didnt make it worse haha! Gillian, Nicole and Kevin were out looking at the concert sometimes. Nicole is so cute =)

April 7th:
Walked around town windowshopping all day. Had 2nd row tickets at the concert this night. Wasn't as good seats as the night before but still amazing =) Saw Dave walking around in the crowd haha! Anyways, Shane and Mark missed a few lines which was very funny and just before Mandy Nicky said it was time for Brians all time fave song... yeh right! Haha!!

April 8th:
Walked around town again, was getting a bit boring now. So instead we decided to stand outside the VIP entrance at SECC. Had so much fun waiting (even though it was cold)!! Met the MacDonald Bros and told them to come to Sweden some time. Then Nicky came... I felt sooo ashamed! Everyone was screaming like... well I don't know actually but I havn't heard anything like it since 2002. I was so angry at myself for being right in the middle of all those screaming people and even more since Nicky noticed us so me and Lisa decided to go in instead of waiting for the others. Wouldn't want to go through that again! The concert was once again amazing! Mark fell in the stairs once (mwahahaha) and Kian told us that he only had a kinder egg but he was still happy. A little while later Shane started talking to a fan and Kian didn't really like that since there was alot of other people at the concert so he started burping haha =)

April 9th:
No Westlife concert this night so instead we saw Sugababes. Wasn't really fair on them to see the concert right in the middle of a Westlife tour. Their show was good but we were so used to seeing Westlife so I think Sugababes would have been better to see some other time.

Aberdeen
April 10th:
Took the bus to Aberdeen. Which took about 3½h... a bit too long! At first Aberdeen was as bad as Sheffield was last year. We couldn't find a thing. Walked around about an hour trying to find our hotel, only problem was the we were looking in the wrong side of town. But since we're so proud we didn't have a map, I mean, we wouldn't want to look like tourists. But since we really couldn't find our hotel we went to the tourist information and asked. After that it was very easy to find =) And all of a sudden it wasn't at all like Sheffield. We also asked how to get to the arena... and we had to take the bus :( It really was too far away to walk. Anyways, we went to our hotel and when we checked in the receptionist told us that the MacDonald Bros was staying at the same hotel. Was very surprised that she told us! A little while later when we were walking around town I told Lisa how funny it would be if MacDonald Bros had a signing at HMV. About 2sec later we saw a few people walking out from HMV with autographs. So we walked in and ofcourse the MacDonald Bros had a signing, random! Didn't find Westlifes hotel in Aberdeen either (suckiness!) so we went to the arena instead. Saw when Kian arrived but can't say that it was very exciting. The arena was just as bad (or maybe even worse) as SECC. Some of the seats was outside of the actuall room where the concert was... if that's possible... anyway it was weird! And we were supposed to have front row but instead we had 2nd since we had all dissabled people infront of us. I really didn't mind but I still think the ticket should've said 2nd row and not 1st! This concert was the best ever, but I don't think the boys were too happy about it. Both Shane and Mark had some problems with their microphones. I couldn't really hear it but they talked to Grubby a few times so I guess there must have been something. But the funn parts was that Kian fell in the medley, Shane forgot the lyrics in You Raise Me Up. Not to mention the intro to World Of Our Own. It was a total mess! I'm not really sure what happened but Nicky didn't do the same dance as the others and the band didn't play what the lads thought they were playing when they started danceing. All 4 of them saw our flag and Shane laughed at us in Picture of you, very funny =) But the best thing was that the absolute last thing that happned was that both Nicky and Mark put their thumbs up for us =)

April 11th:
Last concert. For once I bought some merch. Was going to buy the Nicky T-shirt but they only had it in L and XL so I bought the 4 colour T-shirt instead. 5th row right in the middle which I think was our best seats this tour =) Got some really good pics haha

Have to write this aswell (including London) since I did it last year...

Best arena: Wembley
Best concert: April 10th (Aberdeen)
Best crowd: Glasgow
Best Westlife hotel: failure... *cough* failure!
Best VIP entrance: Aberdeen
Funniest city: London

Conclusion: Manchester next tour...

all pics are (still) here: http://www.pixbox.se/alb337872

The Love Tour - London

Since Denise and probably a few others still don't wanna know anything about the concert this blog will be in two parts haha! So here's the non spoiler one:

Our trip begun friday night when we took the flight to Stockholm from Skellefteå. Then we went home and slept for a while... ehm... about three hours. Then we had to get up and get to Skavsta where we took the flight to London Baby!!! During the day (both saturday and sunday) we walked around town shopping and basically just doing nothing. At the evening it was time for the concerts =D which was amazing! Or should I say more than just amazing?!? Each and every year I think that this must be the one year when the tour isn't quite as good as it usually is but once again I was wrong! It was their best ever! The intro was fab, the setlist (minus one song) was great aswell and the medley... the medley, I can't even begin to explain that! They couldn't have done it any better and I really can't wait to see it again in Glasgow and Aberdeen!! We also met a few Westlife fans there =D Hanna, Carro, Karen, Karens mum, Trudie, Gemma, Charlie, Charlies friend, Mirjam and Mirjams friend. Was realy nice to meet everyone!! Oh yeh... we saw Dave aswell hahaha! You just have to love that man!

Ah well... over the more spoiling part of the blog =P

As I said the intro was amazing! For once it wasn't that very long which ofcourse made it better but it was also kinda unexpected. Atleast I didn't think the intro would be anything like that even though I did know that Total Eclipse was first. Before I saw the show I didn't think I'd like Mandy that much since it's such a boring song but Nicky really did it for me! He just gets better and better every single year! Have to say that You Are So Beautiful was really boring and I'm happy it's a quite short song... still can't believe that only Shane and Mark is on stage during the song. Anyways, What Makes A Man. Always good! And after that it was time for Love Takes Two. The first night I didn't really like that version of the song but second night I thought it was amazing! And that little dance routine was absolutley perfect! Then My Love which was one of the best songs during the show! Everyone loved it and waved their hands in the air and singing along. And as I said, Nicky's vocals has really improved which you noticed even more in My Love! =D Then it was time for the absolute best part of the whole show which also was the best they've ever done, The Medley! It started with a black screen that said The Medley. It then changed to something like This is our tribute to the best boybands of all times... Followed by pics of Backstreet Boys, New Kids On The Block, Boyzone and Take That. Then the medley really kicked off! First song was Backstreets Back and what chocked me the most was that for the first time Mark was actually dancing! He wasn't just moving to the music trying to get it right. He really knew what he was doing this time and he enjoyed it! Then The Right Stuff. The dance routine to the chorus was so funny! I didn't know it before but since the other medley dances was the original ones I suppose this one was aswell. Then the best song of them all, Picture Of You! Was increadible!! Everything Changes was the next one and was amazing aswell! But the coolest thing about the medley was that they included one of their own songs in it! Wow!! Hmm... getting a bit tired of writeing now so I'll just write about the best parts =P Fool Again and You Raise Me Up. Fool Again was (apart from the medley) the most enjoyable song. I rally loved it! And You Raise Me Up, well... it was simple and just amazing!

Had a great time and now I really can't wait! 3 days until we leave for Glasgow and Aberdeen...

And if anyone wants to see, here's a few pics (will add more after Glasgow and Aberdeen): http://www.pixbox.se/alb337872

And we're off...

London here we come! Less than four hours until our flight for Stockholm leaves. Jossi and Pelle will come and get us at the airport and drive us home for a few hours sleep. Then we have to get up at 2.40am for the bus in to town. After that another bus to the airport and at 6.40 tomorrow morning our flight to London leaves from Skavsta.

Can't believe it's really happening now, I mean, I remember just after christmas when it was soooo close haha and now it's only hours!

And I'm sure it's going to be fab concert once again! Those boys really know how to put on a live show! + I've been good this year, I only looked at the setlist so I'm going to be surprised the whole way through. Actually I'm proud of myself cause I really didn't think I could keep myself from the spoilers but I did =D

Will write again when I get back on monday... or maybe I'll save the wring until tuesday... hmm

No Tour DVD

If this is true... then I don't know anymore. What on earth were they thinking?? There are thousands of Westlife-fans who don't get to see them live on tour. Their joy every year is the tour DVDs. As for us who actually get to see them every year, we all want the DVD so we can remember what a great tour it was and what a great night we had. And I honestly believe that no Westlife fan at all would want a Greatest Hits Vol2 DVD instead of a live DVD. So what on earth are BMG thinking? If we are to believe in what Steve said it was supposed to be recorded in Belfast but BMG scrapped it. That means that their intention was in fact to record a live DVD so why change their minds? I really can't believe it. Fine, it's not the hardcore fans that makes the money but even if you're not a hardcore fan, wouldn't it be alot funnier to see a live DVD instead of a long boring interview and a collection of musicvideos that was made with as little money as possible that everyone already have seen a million times before? Sorry for all the rambling but I just had to get this out of me. And I'm right, right?

Whether (spelling?) you're a Westlife fan or not please sign these petitions! No-one knows if it will help but if it does help there will be thousands of very happy Westlife-fans. And it will certainly make my day! And if you actually are a Westlife-fan I hope you give a damn and do it cause it won't take more than 2min. Would be great if everyone could tell everyone they know about it aswell since it obviously will have a much bigger effect if alot of people sign them!

New Brian Interview - Very Long and Very Intresting!

YOU might be forgiven for believing that Brian McFadden is what he himself calls "a real prick". He did, after all, ditch his wife Kerry Katona during a phone call, slept with at least four well-known female pop stars then publicly humiliated Kerry not long after their relationship ended by recording the Almost Here duet with his 'New Love' Delta Goodrem, right? Wrong. In fact, none of these stories is true. At least that's what Brian told me during this interview, which he promised would be "totally honest". Partly, apparently, because he's still grateful I gave him his first serious interview when he was "just a kid starting out with Westlife!"! But more than that, McFadden is angry about - andanxious to undo - the negative image of himself thathas been perpetuated over the past two years, "by themedia in general and tabloids in particular". And which has left him feeling "Ireland isn't my home or a place to come to feel safe, but a place I feared coming back to" and his mum devastated. "To see my reputation destroyed in Ireland and read people slagging me and calling me this and that destroyed my mother," he says, with a passion that defines ourconversation in the Merrion Hotel during Brian's one-day visit to Dublin from London, where he now lives. "Every day she seemed to be onthe f**king Joe Duffy show defending me, denying some story." Maybe, but the "incredibly positive response" Brian got after his recent appearance on Tubridy Tonight makes him believe "the tide is turning" and the same, he hopes, will be true after this interview. But Brian and I did agree in advance not to "just go over the same old story" about how he was born and raised in Dublin, has one sister, got his gig in Westlife etc. He and I already told that tale in this newspaper six years ago. We also, three years later, did an interview with himself and Kerry which very much concentrated on her story. So, this time round, let's just bring up to date the life of this particular Brian, who now is 27, left Westlife in 2004 and a year later parted from Katona. But first, in that last interview, did I mislead readers by depicting himself and Kerry as a loving couple? Was all the handholding and kissing that day in a hotel in Portmarnock just a pose? "Let me answer that question this way. I was very young when I met her and no one ever loved me before," he responds, before adding, "of course" when asked if by this he means outside his family. "Of course, but that was the first time I was ever loved by a girl and I'd ever been in love, and it all overwhelmed me. And I just got lost." Maybe. But such an assertion really does need to be seen in the context of Brian telling me in 2001 that as a young teenager in school he was called "Fat Faggot McFadden" because he went to Billie Barry's stage school and "had no girlfriends". So is he now suggesting he always felt unworthy of love? "Definitely, and those feelings were still there when I was 19 and joined Westlife," he responds. "In fact, before joining Westlife I'd only ever kissed one girl! And even when we were touring at the start I'd get even more lonely looking at the other lads in the group with their long-time girlfriends - and I'm sure Mark had a boyfriend - whereas I had no one. So when Kerry came along and wanted me, that gap was filled and I felt good simply because I had someone to share everything with. Then she got pregnant, and everything went into even more of a mad whirl." In what sense? "It was such a shallow showbiz life being in Westlife," says Brian, that his relationship with Kerry, instead of making him feel "grounded", became "even more and more" part of that shallow fantasy. "I understand now why my private life became as artificial as my life in Westlife but at the time I didn't see it happening," he elaborates. "For example, I never stopped to think, 'You really should get to know this person before you have kids, think of marrying or settle down.' I never took the time to work that outuntil it had all run away with me. So then, when we had the first baby, bought a house, spent time together and Westlife became the same thing over and over, I woke up one morning and realised, 'This is not what I want to do with my life, I don't see myself being with this woman in 20 years, she's not who I'm meant to be with, we don't have anything in common.' "But, at the start, I didn't think of that. It was just, 'She loves me - who cares?' Another problem was that we became a 'showbiz couple', everyone was talking about us, paparazzi photographers were everywhere and that, too, swept me off my feet." Brian, tellingly, then pauses but only long enough to sip his Diet Coke. "But y'know what I hated hated, hated?" he asks rhetorically: "Hello! doing our wedding album. She loved it, I detested all the 'arms around each other', or 'sitting at piano' [photos], and I remember one day in Spain the guy gave us two water pistols and said 'Can you run around shooting each other?' and I said, 'I'm not doing this, you can keep your money, I'm f**king done with it.' "We'd a massive falling-out over this, me and Kerry, and I said it was the last time I'd do anything like that, and we never got the money from Hello! because we didn't give them what they wanted, even if they did use the photos. But even the wedding was a circus, with 400 people! We didn't know half of them, and most we'd met only once or twice! That's not a f**king wedding! Two people fall in love and celebrate it by getting married with their closest family and friends but we had f**king VIP passes for our wedding and special rooms in the castle where VIP guests could stay so they wouldn't have to mix with our families! It was ridiculous. "Then we got our wedding album with a picture of me and Ronan, me and Westlife, me and Louis Walsh! That's not a f**king wedding album. But then it wasn't a real wedding. We weren't getting married to tell everyone we were going to spend our lives together. We were getting married to have a big party and gets loads of money for it and to be showbiz. "We didn't even see each other on our wedding night! We got married, went back to the castle, I was with my mates, she was with hers, we went to bed at separate times and never had anything! Then the next morning Joanne [Byrne, Brian's PR woman] woke me to OK the wedding pictures for the press! So, I don't see my first marriage as a real marriage. It was a showbiz marriage, a fantasy." Perhaps. But also present at that wedding was Brian and Kerry's first child, Molly, who was six months old. So hadn't her birth - as the birth of a first child can for many a man and woman - snapped McFadden awake to reality? "No, because, again, I was too young to understand what it meant and though this is a terrible thing to say, I was so immature that having a child was like getting a dog," he responds, honouring his promise to be totally honest. "It was more like, 'Cool, having a kid will be fun,' never considering what was involved in being a father or thinking, 'I've got a job that keeps me occupied 365 days a year.' "And I do think if Molly hadn't come along in the first place, we never would have married. We were engaged and called it off, but two weeks later came the pregnancy and it was back on. I definitely feel if we didn't have kids, the marriage wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. In fact, when Kerry got pregnant with our second child, Lilly, our relationship was over but we couldn't even consider breaking up so we had another goat it." Back in 2003, therefore, when I interviewed Brian and Kerry they weren't faking affection, they were having "another go at" the marriage. "That is true, but to everyone else looking at us, it seemed like we were two, young happy people always in love," Brian responds. "Yet, deep down, I wasn't. And, obviously, that stag night story started our marriage off badly and if I'm to be completely honest, the day my marriage ended was that stag night, before I even got married. That was the time I felt, 'This is not supposed to be.' That was the first crack and everyone saw it." Hardly. In fact, last time round, Brian asked me not to mention what he now describes as "the blow job Igot from a lap dancer" andI didn't! "Well, at first I denied it ever happened but then I was taken to court for defamation of character for calling her a liar and that [case] went on for three years," he says. "And I asked you not to mention it not just because of my marriage but because I was still in Westlife and we had 12-year-olds buying our records, reading interviews, I had to be responsible over that." Fair enough. But speaking of Westlife, Brian seems just as eager to put on the record the "real reasons" he left the group - which is, let's face it, fundamentally, as with U2, a multimillioneuro-making music machine. Yet, that, as it transpires, is precisely why McFadden finally had to leave. And the breaking point was Westlife recording Mandy. "We'd worked our arses off doing the Turnaround album, which was mostly original songs . . . brilliant," he says. "But then we put out the single Hey Whatever but it only went to number three - as far as I'm concerned, it just didn't get the record company support it deserved. "Then Simon Cowell says, 'I told you what happens when you want to make your own albums. You're going to be dropped, but I have the record that will save your career,' and he played Barry Manilow's Mandy. Then, to me, he basically tarnished a great album by kicking it off with Mandy and I decided, 'I can't do this music any more.' I couldn't stomach the idea of doing the rounds singing Mandy but the other lads were happy to do that. Yet, they didn't write songs, they have no need to be creative at that level, they want to be successful, so if singing Mandy will make them millions that's what they'll do. Whereas I'd rather be number three with a song we wrote." The "final straw" for Brian came when Paul Higgins, head of security and his best friend in the group, took time out from working with them and then it was decided that the band didn't want him back. But Brian's split didn't come until "after a press conference at the Meteor Awards" when "nine out of the 10 questions asked by the press" were about Brian's private life, and the other members of Westlife later "lashed into" him, saying "that was a f**king disgrace", and he left. McFadden also reveals that even if, on that night's RTE news reports of Westlife's break-up, his four fellow-members of the group were "highly emotional" it wasn't because of him leaving. 'NO, it was because they thought this was the end of Westlife, the end of their careers," he says. "But they had asked me to reconsider and I did. I said I'd finish the tour because I wanted a final payoff! Yet, they were going to split upbut then Louis Walsh - who is my friend now but wasn'tthen - talked them out of that and they came back to me and said 'We don't want you to do the tour.' "They didn't want me making any more money if I wasn't to be involved after that. But I love the lads and they are there if I need them. Yet I've never regretted leaving Westlife and wouldn't go back. Sometimes I think, 'I could have had millions if I stayed!' but I don't make music for money any more. It's not that I'm rich. After my divorce, I hit rock bottom. But I've made money from my solo career because the royalties are coming in for songs like Real to Me. Besides, if I'd stayed in Westlife I'd never have had my first solo records or met Delta, and these are the things that matter to me now, apart from my kids." Indeed. And given that Brian loves his children very much and says they haven't been damaged by the marriage break-up because "they get so much love from all sides", he feels duty-bound to reject a story that appeared in this newspaper. It suggested that he is worried about his children in relation to Kerry's current husband Mark Croft and her mother's recent claim that she is "an out-of-control coke head". Brian insists, "No, the guy she's with is a good man and the kids have a great nanny, so they're safe." He claims he did once warn Kerry "she'd have to go to a clinic for her coke problem" or he'd "take the kids", and says "she's not doing coke any more". But does McFadden even talk to his former wife these days? "No." Not even for the sake of the children? "If I had to speak to her, I would, for the kids." But why, as is obvious, is Brian so angry at Kerry? "Because she screwed me, she screwed my career by lying and she knew it was destroying my career and let it happen," he responds, before returning to the story that he's supposed to have ditched Katona during a phone call. "What actually happened is that I was in New York, she'd taken the kids and was living with her mum. She phoned me and asked, 'Do you love me any more?' I said, 'No, not like I did at the start.' She said, 'Neither do I, we have to end it.' I said, 'You're right,' left it at that, then got another call, saying, 'I've spoken to Max [Clifford, the famous publicist], I'm having a press conference to say we're separating, I want to move on with my life,' and to tell you the truth I felt relieved, though I felt sad for the children. "But after that press conference she phoned again and said, 'I'm having nothing to do with this, you're the one leaving me, I'm not agreeing we're breaking up, I don't want to break up.' I said, 'So are we getting back together?' She said, 'No.' But those first press stories said it was a mutual decision. Yet then the Star knocked on her front door, gave her flowers, said, 'We're sorry to hear about your marriage break-up,' and in front of all the paparazzi and journalists she said, 'Don't forget, he left me, I didn't leave him,' and the line they used was, 'I didn't want to break up.' "I didn't mind at first. Yet then it spiralled into what it did. All of a sudden it's, 'He done me over the phone, rang from New York, said he didn't love me any more, wanted to break up.' Then came the stories I was with other women." Was Brian? "I was, like f**k!" Didn't he even have sex with one of those four female pop stars who were, potentially libellously, named inthe tabloids? "None of them! Then another story said I was gay, going out with some person. But I didn't sleep with oneperson after I broke up with Kerry, didn't kiss one girl, didn't even go out and talkto a girl. I was just thinking, 'I have the kids to sort out. The last thing I need is another girl I have problems with.' So I withdrew." So how did Delta enter the story? Actually, at first Brian "didn't know about her history on Neighbours or that she'd sold a million albums in England." He just needed "the right voice" for Almost Here, a song he'd written, heard her sing Lost without You, realised hers was that voice, sent her a recording with the song and she agreed to do the duet. "But Delta and I were rumoured to be together even though we met only that once to do the duet and didn't see each other for three months!" he says. "And Kerry was at that recording session. She met Delta, saw she was a nice girl. And actually at the time, she had no hair because she was going through chemo. [Delta was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease in 2003] But I too just thought, 'She is a nice girl.'" Yet while they were recording Almost Here didn't Brian get any kind of romantic buzz, any sense that he was attracted to Delta? "No" he says, categorically. "I was going through the end of a marriage and, even at that stage - just before Kerry and I broke up, though our marriage had been gone for six months - I wouldn't even humour the thought of another woman. Besides, Delta was dating [the tennis player] Mark Philippoussis. But I've written a song for my next album and it came out of something she said when we were recording Almost Here. Her mother had said to me, 'Mark wants to marry her. She's only 19, tell her not to get married.' So I did tell Delta, 'Don't marry the guy just because he asked you. You're too young and obviously you're not happy.' But she'd noticed I wasn't either, and said,'What about you? You're not happy.' Then I said, 'But my life is set in stone,' and you know what Delta said? 'Nothing is set in stone.' "That's what the song is about. But she wasn't being romantic. She was being defensive, thinking, 'Who is this guy? How dare he talk to me like that?' Yet that is when I began to think, 'Maybe I don't have to stay in this. OK, we're seen as this golden couple, it's not supposed to end because of the kids, but I am f**king unhappy, drinking every day, she doesn't love me any more, we don't have a sex life, I can get out of this.' And Kerry felt the same way." Not long afterwards, Brian got that phone call in New York. However, "things didn't get romantic" for himself and Delta until Ireland on Sunday ran a story that annoyed him at the time but later led to the couple becoming lovers. "They had a headline, 'Is Delta the reason for Brian and Kerry's split-up?' and after that Delta called me to say even journalists in Australia were ringing her to ask about the story and we just laughed at the whole idea, but that's how our friendship began!" he says. "I didn't meet her again until we shot the video and then the world's paparazzi were trying to get even one shot of us to increase the story. But we didn't get together until later, when we were promoting the single. At one point, our friendship became so close we just looked at each other and realised, 'This is it!' "Then, after we sang together on the royal performance and had a few drinks, we kissed for the first time. That's when everything fell into place for me. And it's not just that Delta loves me. Or I love her. Our love for music is the same and we are so creative as a couple. Our sitting room has a TV, grand piano, guitars and that's it! Everything is about making music. We wake up in the morning, start singing, or write a song. I've actually written 150 songs in the past two years, one will be my new single, and then I'll choose 12 for my second album. So life is great!"! Meaning, maybe, that Brian McFadden is happier now than he's ever been? "Absolutely, on all levels," he says. "And I think everything is going to get better. I hit the low then ended up higher than ever before. And even though people say success is about how many albums you sell, how many number ones you have, to me it's about someone saying, 'I love that song you wrote'and about being creative. That's what I am, now, whereas in Westlife there was no room to be creative, nothing to create for." Speaking of creativity, I had better end by asking Brian one shamelessly obvious question. Earlier he described his marriage to Kerry as his "first" so is he secretly married to Delta and, eh, creating their own kids! "No! But what the f**k is it about Ireland that as soon as two people get together they're asked, 'When are you getting married?" he responds, laughing. "You are the fourth Irish journalist in a row to ask, 'So, wedding bells?' But if we're getting married, Joe, we'll let you know!" © Joe Jackson Brian McFadden's single 'Only a Woman' is out next month Joe Jackson *taken from Brians Myspace page

Berntsson Was More Than Just Amazing!!

What a fantastic Freeprogram he did!! I've never ever seen him skate as good before! Almost everything was perfect. He did his jumps and the tripple axel- trippel toelop was amazing!! And what a personal best he got!! When people normal skate a new personal best it's usually just a few points or just half a point but his was 20, 42 points better!! AMAZING! I'm so happy for him and also for Adrian (or who ever it might be) that because of this can skate in the next worldchampionships in Gothenburg! I'm soooo going to be there!!
Bragdguld nästa??

Berntsson nia i VM
- efter rekord och personbästa

Tokyo.
